Smart-Link's M2M solutions are based on Secure Data Transfer (SDT) ® technology, which provides highly reliable, secure M2M solutions, with unequalled global coverage.

Smart-Link™ offer a solution which enables remote monitoring and control. Our solutions are comprised of a generic field module which communicates to a back-office, using the optimised SDT® telemetry protocol.
Our platform can transform raw machine data into relevant business intelligence data, which is made available through seamless interfaces with the customer's existing back-office applications. Alternatively, information can be made available through a customer-specific secured website. In both cases, the entire architecture is end-to-end secure.

This allows businesses to safely capture required data from the field and self-configure their machines, in a way which is highly cost effective.

Smart-Link™ services and solutions differ from traditional, full-service M2M providers:

By experience we know the importance of a low-cost telemetry solution, and of scalability and stability. Generally, we provide service to customers which operate large-scale international asset bases (most often entailing many thousands of machines in field), rather than customized full service M2M support at individual machine level.
Our solutions do not primarily dependent on GPRS, UMTS of G3-type implementations. The cellular coverage of SDT® is global and truly ubiquitous, and not limited to the (sometimes limited) footprint of mobile IP-connectivity.
Our SDT® technology support both non-networked application s (like vending machines) and networked applications (like copiers). As the Smart-Link™ field module is invisible within Local Area Networks, the deployment of our technology is truly universal and plug-and-play.
